The Manada Conservancy's Education Programs

The Manada Conservancy, in partnership with the Derry Township Parks and Recreation Department, presents four educational programs per year--two Spring programs, and two Fall programs. Our first Spring program often has a gardening theme. We also provide other programs on occasion. We have received many compliments on our well-attended and informative programs, which have covered a variety of subjects and have been intended for a range of age-groups. Our out-door excursions have been particularly popular, such as our trip to Haldeman Island to view the nesting Bald Eagles there, or our "Songs of Crickets and Katydids" program, given by naturalist Steve Rannels. Check our calendar of events for upcoming programs.

If you or your business would like to sponsor an educational program, please contact us. Sponsorships help us to cover speakers fees, printing and other expenses associated with providing these programs to the community.
