Another 89 acres of Kittatinny ridge forest is preserved. Home to bears, porcupines, bobcats, deer and countless other fauna and flora, Chuck and Brenda Witmer’s land has been under their watchful care for decades. Now they have partnered with us to protect their land into the future.
Working with the Army Compatible Use Buffer program and the Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation, together we continue to piece together these habitat gems in high priority conservation areas. The Witmers are proud to be a part of a program that furthers both conservation and a military mission to preserve undeveloped land near training facilities like Fort Indiantown Gap. In their own words, “It’s everything we believe in.”
