    Get outside and discover the wonders of nature together! Join Manada Conservancy for a fun, guided family walk as we trek the trails, look for wildlife, discover plants and insects, and experience the changing season at a relaxed
    pace. This is a great opportunity for children and adults to explore and make lasting memories outdoors.

  • 10th Annual Walk in Penn's Woods

    Join Manada Conservancy and The Dauphin County Woodland Owners Association for the annual Walk in Penn's Woods! This year's walk will take place on two properties persevered by Manada Conservancy.
    DCNR Service Forester, Andy Brought, will lead the walk and discussion, with topics including healthy forest management, wildlife habitat, invasive species control, creating and maintaining conservation easements, and government cost-share opportunities available
    to Pennsylvania woodland owners. Participants will also have an opportunity to learn more about how landowners, conservation organizations, and public agencies can work together to protect and improve privately owned forestland. Naturalist, Ian Gardner, will
    also join us for our walk this day.
    The event will be held rain or shine; the hike will be roughly 2 miles, sturdy shoes and comfortable hiking clothes are recommended.
