Recognized around the world for its important habitat, climate change resiliency, and contiguous intact forested lands, the Kittatinny Corridor encompasses a range of mountains that stretches across much of Pennsylvania and beyond. Working with partners like the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and landowners, we have preserved this 150-acre forested property for future generations to enjoy.
Perched on the northern slopes of Third Mountain, stretching from Clarks Creek all the way up to the ridgetop, the habitat range for myriad species of wildlife on this property is impressive. Being contiguous with State Game Land 211 (one the largest in the state) makes this property even more valuable, as another piece of the Kittatinny jigsaw puzzle is added to the good guys column.
